Vietnam Streets of Hanoi is my latest vlog from Vietnam.
My latest YouTube vlog concentrates on the old quarter of Hanoi. Set to background music, you’ll see a variety of everyday life that takes place within the old part of the capital city.
Vietnam is fast becoming a photographer’s dream as far as travel photography is concerned. With its myriad cultural experiences, landscapes and architecture. There is enough to keep anyone happy for a very long time.
Shot over a couple of days in Hanoi’s Old Quarter using my GoPro you get a flavour of what it’s like to walk the streets of Vietnam’s capital city as well as be on the back of a motorcycle.
Having visited a number of times, I have got to know my way around the streets and know what there is in terms of things photographically. In addition, I speak some basic Vietnamese, which helps when approaching people and asking if they can be filmed or photographed.
Learning the local language of any country you visit is extremely important. Even if you only learn basic greetings, it goes a long way in any country. And having visited at least 40 countries, I can tell you now local people love it if you attempt their language instead of just asking if they speak English.
I run regular Vietnam photography tours at various times of the year, so if you’d like to photograph this beautiful city, then do get in touch.
