I run a number of photo tours in many countries across Asia, including Vietnam, Nepal, Mongolia, Japan and even Uzbekistan.

Vietnam

Photo opportunities in Vietnam are endless. The bustling streets of Hanoi offer great opportunities to capture the interesting locals. In Mu Cang Chai you can photograph stunning rice terraces that turn golden yellow and are transformed into a stunning backdrop to the hillsides and deep valleys.

Vietnam is a great country to practice your travel and landscape photography skills.

Mongolia

Mongolia is one of the most vast and rugged expanses in Asia. Known for its nomadic cultures, we will spend time with one of the most interesting as we explore the amazing landscapes of the Altai Mountains.

This photo tour provides a great opportunity to document first-hand the life of Kazakh eagle hunters as you spend time living alongside the hunters and their families witnessing their daily lives.

Nepal

This is an unforgettable photo tour of Nepal and Upper Mustang, starting in Kathmandu and moving to Upper Mustang in northern Nepal. This little-visited area of Nepal has much to offer photographers.

We will explore the high mountain peaks of the Anna Purna range, villages where it seems time has remained still since the middle ages where you can practice street photography and photograph the charismatic local people.

Japan

Japan is a fascinating country offering a wealth of photo opportunities for the travel and landscape photographer. Autumn is a particularly wonderful time to photograph as the vibrant colours explode in places like Kyoto.

We will photograph the landscapes, people and the amazing futuristic cityscapes that Japan is famous for.

Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is a hidden gem in central Asia offering some incredible photo opportunities. It’s one of the less visited places so you won’t be fighting for spots among thousands of other photographers.

Come and photograph the amazing architecture here, and document the life of the local people. You’ll be sure to return with a whole load of unique images for your portfolio.
