During the month of April, the area starts seeing the fields come alive with rapeseed fields and flax. The town and villages have many houses that see them covered in wisteria and of course we’ll be visiting some of the stunning castles and other architecture that make up one of the world’s largest UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The beautiful castle and gardens at Villandry in France. This small castle and its village are within the confines of the Loire Valley. Loire Valley photography tours and workshops.
The Chateau de Sully-sur-Loire in France. The seat of the Duke de Sully, the Chateau de Sully sur Loire is a chateau-fort built to control one of the few sites where the river Loire can be forded. It’s origins date back to around the 13th century with various additions being added over the centuries.
